About

For years I used shopping as my crutch. The thrill of a purchase faded with the arrival of new catalogues and announcement emails. I’d hobble along until my next retail find.

The birth of my daughter Cecilia forced me into maturity – emotionally and financially. Hours spent on Nordstrom.com conceded to hours of feeding, bathing, and coddling. The rewards of motherhood quickly outweighed sample sales.

Double Scoop encourages vertical growth with a one for me, one for you approach. I hope to regain a perfect posture by balancing my passions and responsibilities. It’s important to enjoy the blend of life’s sweet layers – scoop by scoop.

I am a full-time marketing specialist with a degree in Communications from Marquette University. Double Scoop is a creative vent for writing, photography, and layout.
